What is blogging?

Blogging is like keeping a journal, but online. You can be the only one to write in your online journal, or you can give others permission to also write in it.

When you blog, you write on a website using a computer instead of in a journal. You can let the whole world read your blog on their computers, or you can choose to share your blog with only people you know.

There are different ways of setting up a blog:

• A teacher or parent can set up a classroom blog.

• With your parent's permission, a student can have their own blog.

  
  

It's important to be positive when blogging because others can see your posts.

Also, remember to talk to your parent or teacher about the rules of staying safe online.
