Oatmean Raisin Fly Cookies
Here is what you need:

1⁄2 Cup (1 Stick) Butter

3⁄4 Cup Brown Sugar

1⁄2 Cup Granulated Sugar

1 Large Egg
-
1 Teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
-
1 1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
-
1⁄2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
-
1⁄2 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
-
1⁄2 Cup Raisins or chocolate chips
-
1 1/2 Cups Quick-Cooking Oatmeal
-
Hand full sliced almonds

Cream butter. Add in sugars. Mix well. Add egg and mix. Add vanilla. Mix.
​
In another bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, and cinnamon. Add to sugar mixture.
​
Add raisins and oatmeal. Mix well.
​
Drop by spoonfuls onto baking pan (lined with parchment paper). Bake in pre-heated 350F oven for 12 minutes.
Push tips of sliced almonds into warm cookies on each side of a raisin to look like wings on a fly.

Store in airtight container. You can freeze for later up to 2 months.
