Pom Pom Bees

Step By Step Directions:

Supplies for 1 bee:

  • mini pom poms                      (2 yellow, 2 black)

  • Tacky Glue

  • scissors

  • googly eyes

  • white paper

Mobile Option:

  • stick

  • white string

Directions for bee:

  • Trim the left and right sides of 1 black pom pom and 1 yellow pom pom to make them thinner for the body, like a wheel shape. (Be careful to not cut through the middle.)

  • Leave  the other black and yellow pom poms round for the head and the bottom.

Make the wings:

  • Cut 2 teardrop shapes out of white paper.

  • The wings should be the same size.

  • Put glue on the pointed tip of teardrops.

  • Glue the wings to the thin black body part.

  • Then, glue the yellow round pom pom on, so that the wings are between the round yellow head and the thin black (wheel shape)part of the body.

  • Next, glue the thin yellow (wheel shape) body part to the thin black part.

  • Then, glue the round black pom pom to the end for the bottom of the bee.

  • Last, glue the googly eyes on front of the yellow head.

Mobile Option:

  • Cut a 12 inch piece of string.

  • Tie the string around the bee, behind the wings.

  • Try to get the string between the wings and the black part of body.

  • Tie the other end of the string to the tip of the stick.
