Dragonfly Chenille Sticks
Step By Step Directions:
​Supplies for dragonfly:
-
2 chenille sticks, multi colors
-
Tacky Glue​
-
googly eyes
-
8 beads
-
scissors (optional)
Directions:
​
Chenille Stick #1(Head and Body)
-
Twist the top end into a spiral about the size of a dime. This will be the head.

Slide 1 bead from the bottom of the chenille stick up to the spiral.
Chenille Stick #2 (Wings)

Make a small loop about the size of a nickel on the end of the 2nd chenille stick.

Twist the loop to lock in place.

Shape the loop like a tear drop.
Twist a second loop, the same size, next to the first loop.

Continue to make and 3rd and 4th loop under the first 2 loops to make a double set of wings.

Optional: You can add another chenille stick if needed.

Join the body to the wings by placing the wings on the body just below the beed !

Wrap the tail of the body around the center of the wings 2 times and pull to tighten.

Slide the rest of the beads from the bottom of the chenille stick up to the bottom of the wings.

Tie a knot under the last bead.

Cut the extra part of the chenille stick off, under the knot.

Glue the googly eyes on with Tacky Glue and let dry.
